Blizzard has shown strong support for Nintendo platforms in the past, and the trend may continue with Diablo 4. Rod Fergusson’s recent statement that there is “opportunity” for a Switch 2 port has fans buzzing with anticipation gold diablo 4.

Diablo 4’s steady stream of updates and its strong reception since 2023 make it an attractive candidate for porting. Especially as the Switch 2 is rumored to close the performance gap with traditional consoles, allowing visually demanding titles to thrive.

The biggest question remains how well live-service features will translate to Nintendo’s infrastructure. According to Fergusson, this has historically been a challenge, but one they may be willing to revisit given the Switch 2’s rumored upgrades.
